Fun, beautiful game held back by performance issues and some quality of life improvements. Still the best billiards game on Quest though.
Really need custom game options, such as an optional timer that can be enabled/disabled at any time. Options to bank on the 8, call pockets in ranked and always call pocket on 8.
The match-up screen needs more info, such as, which balls each players have made.
Would like to see some props in-game that users can interact with like sitting in chairs. Have the option to get props like beers and cigarettes. PokerStars has these and they are really awesome.
Game is a pretty laggy with frame drops anytime a player loads in. Pool cue isn’t very steady and drifts. The tables don’t seem to have a felt, as the balls glide and spin like they are on glass. A bit of friction between the table and balls would go a long way.
No settings menu? Can’t remap any buttons. Can’t change any audio or graphics settings? Using the trigger to grab the pool cue instead of the grab button is a complete oversight on the devs. Feels very unnatural and awkward. Audio is proximity and quickly becomes annoying as you can hear everyone at the other tables just as loud as the person your facing. Multiple times our conversations were mixed up. The walls between each little room needs to prevent chat from coming through. If anything, fix that first.
On the players turn, make the highlighted box around the table a barrier, that only the player up, is able to enter. As people stand in the way and get in your face during shots. Love the YouTube on the wall, but for the love of god…need an ad-block on there. Lol.
Overall…I give it a 3.5/5. I played all night. Met cool people. Mostly adults and not annoying kids. Awesome game worth the buy, hopefully the devs stay with it as it has a lot of potential. Thanks for all your hard work and time! The attention to detail and ball physics really shows.
