What We Do
In its simplest terms, we help developers to release their games and apps and promote them to our users and beyond. We go above and beyond to help developers see success in VR. We are the largest standalone VR content platform, we are in a great position to help developers.We are lucky at SideQuest, we somehow managed to find ourselves at the center of a whole new transformative technology called Virtual Reality just when things were really taking off.

Why do we do it?
In early 2019 Oculus broke the news that their flagship standalone headset the Oculus Quest would have a highly curated store. Unlike their stores for the Rift and Go, developers would now need to submit a pitch for consideration with no guarantees of approval.Lot's of developers had the same problem so we launched SideQuest as an easy to use alternative to the curated Oculus store.
Today SideQuest has exploded into a vibrant community of creators and consumers of content. We share a passion for the future of VR.

We live in evolving times, we like to think of ourselves as ahead of the curve. We started SideQuest in the middle of a global pandemic, fully remote around the world from day one.
Our teams usually meet virtually at least once a day. We hold a company wide All Hands 1-2 times per month to have an open discussion about any topic anyone wants to discuss. Communication is especially important for a remote team, we try to be as open as possible.
SideQuest has always had a strong connection and trust with the community. Our community is strong with millions of monthly active users on our website and constant love across social media.

Our Journey has been Meteoric
Our growth has been 100% organic. Seasonal growth is really strong and we continue to see major hardware and content releases driving big waves of adoption.From our view of the world mass adoption in VR seems to be upon us. We continue to have rapid organic growth, we estimate we have 25% of the standalone market using SideQuest.
SideQuest has the trust of users and developers. We are in a unique position to be able to drive adoption of VR and so we are on a mission to make it easier for users and developers to connect and share VR content. We believe we are on the cusp of the next evolution of human computer interaction and we are humbled to be a part of the journey.
